Our policies:
- Gas motorboats are not allowed at our resort.
- Sorry, no pets (in consideration of the local wildlife and other guests).
- Smoking is not allowed in any of the buildings.
- Check in time is 3PM. Check out time is 9AM.
- Our preferred weekly rental period is Saturday at 3PM to Saturday at 9AM.
- We prefer to rent our cabins by the week, but please contact us if you are interested in daily rental. If openings are available, we’ll work to accommodate your schedule.
- Daily housekeeping is not provided. Please remember to bring your own bath towels.
- We are a quiet resort. Many of our guests want to hear the sounds of nature free of manmade noise. Finding a place to do this is getting very difficult in our modern world. Please be considerate of other guests. If you want to listen your music, use headphones or close your cabin windows. If your group is getting loud, take it inside and close your windows. Strict quiet hours are 10pm to 7am.
- Please make sure your boat is free of invasive species before launching it into Crooked Lake, Clark Lake or any of the Sylvania lakes.
- We are a seasonal resort, open from mid-May to mid-October.
Booking Information:
- A 50% deposit by personal check or money order is required to confirm your reservation. Please make checks out to Sylvania Wilderness Cabins and mail to Tim Schmidt, W5541 Firelane 12, Menasha, WI 54952. A confirmation email will be sent upon receipt of deposit.
- Balance of rent is due 14 days prior to your visit.
- We do not accept credit cards.
- All rates do not include state and/or local taxes (currently 6%).
- A $500 refundable damage deposit for Wildside is due 10 days prior to your arrival. Deducted from the deposit will be charges for any damage that exceeds normal wear and tear and excessive cleaning costs.
Cancellations:
- Deposits will be refunded if the cabin is re-rented and a 30-day minimum notice is given.
- No refund for cancellations less than 30 days prior to your arrival date.
